Memorial Park

A remembrance park taking shape

At Dry Creek Cemetery in Boise, a quiet corner is becoming a permanent place for families to gather, walk, and remember.

The vision

What the park will hold

Every element is designed to be permanent, accessible, and calm - a place that works equally well for a public vigil and for one person sitting alone.

The Angel of Hope statue

The bronze angel at the centre of the park, part of a tradition shared by more than a hundred communities.

Memorial bricks

Engraved 4x8 bricks set into the walkway, each carrying a loved one’s name.

Memorial wall plaques

Engraved 8x12 plaques mounted on the memorial wall beside the statue.

Sponsored benches

Places to sit and stay a while, engraved in memory of a loved one.

A gathering area

Open space for candlelight vigils, anniversaries, and small ceremonies.

Landscaping and paths

Accessible walkways, planting, and quiet corners throughout.

Progress

Where the project stands

Milestones are added here as the park moves from plan to place.

Construction updates are on the way

As ground is broken and the park takes shape, progress will be shared here so families and donors can follow along.

Help us finish the park

The park is being built entirely through community support. Every brick, plaque, and bench brings it closer to complete.

Donations are processed securely by Donorbox.
