Sharing a story with us
Last updated August 17, 2026
Thank you for considering sharing your loved one’s story. This page explains plainly what happens to what you send us.
What you are confirming
When you submit a story, you confirm that:
- You have permission to share this story and these photographs.
- You understand the story will be reviewed before publication.
- You understand we may edit formatting, spelling, or the excerpt, while preserving the meaning of what you wrote.
- You understand your contact information will not be published.
What we do with it
- Your submission is saved privately and is not visible on the website.
- A member of the Angel of Hope Idaho team reads it.
- If we have a question, we will email you.
- If it is published, it appears on the Stories of Hope pages with your loved one’s name, dates, story, and photographs.
Photographs you upload stay private until the moment a story is published. Nothing is visible on the internet before then.
What we never publish
- Your email address.
- Your phone number.
- Any PDF you attach - those are for our committee’s reference only.
We may not publish every story
We read every submission with care, and we publish as many as we can. Occasionally a story may not be published, or may need changes before it can be. If that happens we will tell you why, and we will always treat what you have written with respect.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your story at any time, before or after publication, for any reason and without explanation. Just contact us and we will take it down.
Your privacy
For full detail on how we handle your information, please read our Privacy Policy.
